1 : Determine the type of head and the diameter E of the button
2: choose the appropriate type of clip (read the note in the case of self-tightening clips)
3: when a self-tightening clip is chosen, the dimension Q must be taken into account for the calculation (height of the ears)
4: select if desired the restraint system (either the neoprene washer or the circlip)
5: determine H according to the required tightening capacity (according to the diagram in the appendix – always round up to the upper tenth)
6: once H has been calculated, simply fill in the last 3 digits of the knob to know the associated reference ‘e.g.: for a 10mm diameter knob with a split head in galvanized steel, if H=7mm, the reference is: ODR 100007 ZI)
